You don't need any of this to get a reply, but it usually saves a round trip:
- Your iPhone model and iOS version.
- The app version, at the bottom of the You tab.
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
- Roughly when it happened, so we can find it in the logs.

Questions people ask
It says I need Kith Rabbit first.
Kith Otter runs on your kith — the agent in Kith Rabbit that knows you. Otter is a second door into the same account, so sign in with the Apple ID you use for Kith Rabbit. If your kith isn't set up yet, Otter tells you what's still open: a profile, a persona, a name for your kith, and what you do and care about. Finish those in Kith Rabbit and come back.
Why do I see so few people?
By design. Otter only shows people exactly one introduction away — someone connected to a person you're connected with in Kith Rabbit. Never strangers, and never your direct connections. The more people you confirm in Kith Rabbit, the more the deck fills. It also only shows people whose "who I'd like to meet" matches you, and yours them.
I liked someone. What happens now?
Nothing they can see. A like is silent. If they like you too, your two kiths meet on a date — a private conversation on your behalf, with neither of you present — and each decides. If both say yes, a room with the two of you opens in Kith Rabbit and shows up on the Matches tab, with the kiths' reasons and a suggestion for a first date. If either says no, nothing happens and nobody is told.
What does my kith say about me on a date?
What it knows from Kith Rabbit and the brief you wrote in Otter — and it's told to share only what you'd want shared, nothing private, and no third parties by name. It never speaks as you, and it's told to say "I don't know" rather than invent. Nothing said on a date is remembered afterwards; the only words that reach a person are the one-line reasons in the match room. If it still said something you'd rather it hadn't, tell us.
Who sees my Otter photos?
Only people who could see you in their deck, and people you've matched with. They're separate from your Kith Rabbit picture and never shown anywhere else.
Can I pause without leaving?
Yes. You → Show me to people, off. You leave everyone's deck and no new dates start; matches you already have stay.
How do I delete my Otter profile?
You → Leave Kith Otter. It deletes your Otter profile, photos, likes and any unfinished dates. Your Kith Rabbit account and any rooms you matched into are untouched — those are Kith Rabbit chats now. To delete the whole account, use Kith Rabbit's Delete Your Account.
Someone is bothering me.
Block or report them in Kith Rabbit — open their profile there and choose Block. A block reaches across to Otter: they leave your deck, you leave theirs, and no date can start between you. Anything urgent, email us directly and say so in the subject line.
How much does it cost?
Kith Otter is free. A date uses your kith's weekly allowance in Kith Rabbit, the same as a conversation with it would.
